Airbnb is taking on China with a plan for its seniors to open their homes to travellers. They have signed a MOU with Huashou Community Elderly Services Center, a Not-for-Profit associated with the China National Committee on Aging (CNCA).

Under the agreement, Airbnb will offer education and training courses to show the elderly how to rent out their homes to tourists. In return, the Center will market the company to its members.

Over one million people over 60 use Airbnb worldwide, with one in six Australians over 18 having an Airbnb account.
