Halcyon Greens, an over-50s master-planned retirement community in Pimpama on the Gold Coast will hold an ‘active living’ open day on 8 September to showcase the first stage of its $13 million recreational precinct to the public.
Australia’s largest pickleball facility, containing eight purpose-built courts, championship-sized bowling green and tennis court are just some of the amenities featured in this $300 million lifestyle development.
Dr Bevan Geissmann, joint managing director of Halcyon, said the company’s focus is on improving the health and fitness of their residents and the recreational facilities are the perfect way to achieve this.
Halcyon Greens has recently built a new clubhouse and transformed the 18-hole Gainsborough Greens golf course. This 500-home project is Australia’s first golf and lifestyle community offering residents special memberships and direct access to the Gainsborough Greens Golf Club.
On completion the recreation club and lodge will also include a cinema, gym, wellness centre, indoor and outdoor pools as well as vegetable garden, fruit orchard, work shed and storage facilities for boats, golf buggies, caravans and CCTV security.
Active Living Open day 10am – 1 pm Saturday 8th September at 7 Halcyon Drive Pimpama, QLD.
