Peninsula Village is replacing its existing 96-bed aged care facility at Jack Aldous House, Umina, with a 120-bed three-storey development.
CEO Shane Neaves says: “We are … planning smaller wings of 14 residents per family unit, to provide a better level of care and continuity of staff,” he said.
A local success story, Peninsula Villages has been operating on the Central Coast for over 40 years. Its three villages and three aged care homes currently cater for 450 residents and employ 315 staff, plus many volunteers. Umina has a population of just 16,000.
