Palm Lake Resort, the prestigious Ballina retirement community, has recently claimed three gold-medal awards for luxury retirement village design, ranking it highly in the 2017 Master Builders Regional Housing and Construction Awards.
The village took out first place for Best Commercial Building from $5 million to $10 million, first place for Best Medium Density Development, and first place for Best Exhibition Home priced from $200,000 to $300,000.
The Oasis Country Club, a cornerstone of the community, also hails itself as a penultimate piece of the luxury hotel meets country club village for independent retirees.
Along with its very own ten pin bowling alley, the Palm Lake Resort Oasis Country Club boasts state-of-the-art community facilities, including a luxury cinema, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools with spa and sauna, a mini grand piano, games room, library, grand dining room with dance floor, craft room, and coffee lounge.
Judges of the awards were floored by the detailed Palm Lake Resort designs, understandably which earned the village their accolades.
“It has raked ceilings in the living area and entertainer sliding doors off the dining area to invite the outdoors in and seamlessly marry all of the living spaces into one expansive area. The large master bedroom has an adjoining spacious ensuite with a shower niche and walk in robe. Stone vanity bench tops are a feature with 2 Pac cabinetry and semi frameless shower screens. Waterfall stone bench tops, induction cooking and integrated range hood give the kitchen a state-of-the-art modern feel,” were just some of the judges’ remarks.
