The luxury retirement village The Avenue Maroochydore will commence construction on 19 March 2018 according to its developer Aura Holdings.

The two-stage development, located on the old Maroochydore Swans Bowls club site, will be home to 117 retirement living apartments with two- and three-bedroom apartments selling from $420,000.

The  Avenue Maroochydore Retirement Community will be located within walking distance to Sunshine Plaza, the CBD precinct and the river and will include a heated pool,  internal courtyard with outdoor BBQ area, gym and café as well as on demand in-home care services through partner, Five.Good.Friends.

Aura Director, Tim Russell,  says that their focus is tailoring their offering around the needs of their clients, giving them choice when it comes to living options, both now and in the future and delivering a much-needed retirement village in that area of the coast.

The first stage is already over 50% sold and is expected to be sold out prior to completion.
