Southern Cross Care, in partnership with Yolk Property Group, will work to create a sustainable and liveable community, transforming the vacant 14-hectare site at Champion Lakes, 22km from Perth.

The development will include housing options including apartments, townhouses, standard and micro-lot homes, aged living and retirement housing.

The site will also include commercial and retail opportunities and public open space plus a range of community amenities to promote recreation and wellness for residents and neighbours.

“This exciting new mixed-use development will deliver a diverse range of highly affordable and innovative housing including aged care, and create a dynamic community hub precinct to benefit the wider region,” Planning Minister Rita Saffioti said.

“This represents an excellent outcome for Armadale and surrounding suburbs such as Roleystone where the ageing population needs more facilities to age in place.”
