Listed on the ASX, the private operator has announced deregulation is leading them to expand its home care services to Mildura in Victoria and Darwin as well eastern metropolitan Melbourne and Cairns in QLD.
They offer both government-funded services as well as additional services including 24-hour care.
National Manager Todd Waldron said the new environment of competition makes a strong team of support workers a top priority.
“We have just conducted a six-month program to improve the quality of what we do so we are seen to be an industry provider of choice and that is more important now as people can change from service to service quite easily,” he said.
Regis is one of Australia’s largest residential aged care operators, with 53 homes across the country.
