The Royal Freemasons’ Homes of Victoria has acquired the 42-bed aged care home (pictured) and the 26-unit Canadian Pines Village in Ballarat from Melbourne-based property developer Equisent.
The deal also includes two lots of vacant land which will be used for the future expansion of the aged care home to 90 beds, which Equisent will build.
Royal Freemasons currently has 11 retirement villages and 10 nursing homes, plus two retirement apartments, mostly in Melbourne, and has been working towards expanding its services in regional VIC.
