Perth-based providers Community First, Volunteer Task Force and Care Options have announced they will merge as the roll-out of the CDC and NDIS forces Not For Profits to be more competitive.
Combined they will provide support services to clients with disabilities and home care, rather than being fixed in one sector.
While a name has yet to be announced, the new organisation will employ over 400 staff with over 10,000 clients.
Together they will offer a wider range of in-home aged care services, including day centres and activities, domestic assistance, personal support, meals on wheels, home maintenance and transport services across Perth and regional areas of WA. Community First will also provide mental health, disability and employment support in a number of locations.
Volunteer Task Force services include gardening, transport, home maintenance, shopping assistance and outings, while Care Options operates a Regional Assessment Service in both WA and Adelaide.
