Lincoln on the Bellarine, at Armstrong Creek in Victoria will launch to the public this month and is a new chapter for YMCA Victoria according to the organisation’s Peter Gillies.
According to Mr Gillies the project’s aim is to develop dedicated lifestyle options for seniors, reinventing retirement as the start of living.
Equidistant from the Great Ocean Road and the port city of Geelong, the 174 two- and three-bedroom residences, which feature a coastal aesthetic, have been designed within the principles of connectedness and integration with surrounding neighbourhoods.
Wayne Stephens, principal of ClarkeHopkinsClarke , the project’s architects, describes the development as a new brand of senior living in the form of walkable urban villages.
Amenities will include café, aquatic centre and gym (open to the public) and residents lounge, theatrette, arts room and private dining all of which will be built against a backdrop of walking trails, central park, orchard and community garden.
Stage one residences are available to reserve now.
