The 108-storey building in Southport will be the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere if developer Azzura gets their way.
They are currently waiting on approval for the mega tower, though the first stage was already given the go-ahead by Gold Coast City Council late last year.
The retirement village would be part of the Imperial Square, which will measure a massive 50,000sqm Imperial Square, and boast a range of facilities such as a luxury hotel, student accommodation, health centre and more.
Azzura has been developing projects in the local area since the 1980’s and were behind both the Surfers Paradise Azzura Resort tower and Azzura Greens on Hope Island.
