Ciarán Foley, CEO of Allambie Heights Village Limited, is delighted the NSW Land and Environment Court has granted development approval for a new Over 55s retirement village to be built behind one of its existing retirement villages, William Charlton Village, 17.5km northeast of Sydney’s CBD.
“This is a great result after a very long process,” said Ciarán.
“This development represents additional growth and further diversification for our company. The design and presentation of the apartments are of the highest standards with outstanding views of Sydney’s City Skyline and beyond and located in beautiful surroundings.
“This is great news for the Northern Beaches, for prospective residents who have been waiting for this result and for the local economy.”
The new village will consist of 24 two-bedroom with media room apartments and community facilities.
“We expect building to commence during 2022 with an approximate building period of 12-14 months,” Ciarán added.
Allambie Heights Village is a Not For Profit company founded in 1966.It has William Charlton Village and a residential aged care home on the site.
