Australian Unity officially opened the Campbell Place Residential Community in Glen Waverley on Wednesday, a new village intended to upgrade aged care to suit modern independent and assisted lifestyles for residents.

The Campbell Place Residential Community holds 54 boutique retirement apartments and 102 aged care beds, with an additional gym, library, beauty salon, manicured gardens and social spaces. The village also boasts convenient proximity to the Glen Waverley train station and nearby shopping centres and entertainment quarters.

“I believe Australian Unity understand what older Australians are looking for,” said The Comissioner for Senior Victorians, Gerard Mansour, who officiated the opening. “They want to be connected to the community around them and have control and be as independent as possible, and they do that perfectly here at Campbell Place,” he continued.
