Leading retirement village developer Aveo Group has set a new high for the year, after the opening of their $36 million state-of-the-art integrated retirement community at Aveo Durack opened its doors in July, pushing the benchmark for quality village living to a new level.

The new three storey development will allow residents to ‘age in place,’ a key strategy of Aveo Group to provide residents with a community for life supported by the care services, support and facilities they need as they age, along with living options ranging from independent living through to advanced care.

Aveo Group Executive General Manager of Integrated Communities, Jason Eldering, said the priority is to create a comfortable, home-like environment with contemporary features, communal spaces and spacious living options that is at the heart of all homes in the community.

“Fostering a sense of community is especially important, so all three floors within the building are connected by generous common areas including open plan kitchens, coffee and dining areas, kid zones for grandchildren, piano bar, courtyards and gardens, a reflection room, beauty salon and health and wellness facilities,” he said.
