Aveo Group and Deputy Mayor Patricia White have officially opened the $12 million new stage to Aveo’s Island Point community in the St George’s Basin on the NSW South Coast.
This latest stage of the Aveo project will include a new community centre and an additional 31 independent living units.
Priced from $409,000 the two- bedroom units will include two bathrooms, one car garage, outdoor patios and landscaped gardens just 800 metres from the waterfront.
The community centre features a gym, indoor swimming pool, billiards, lounge, bar, library, salon and men’s shed.
According to Angela Buckley, Aveo Head of Community for the Southern region, Aveo anticipated that the new stage units will sell out as quickly as the last stage, reflecting the demand for retirement living and downsize options that don’t compromise on location or lifestyle.
Residents Margaret and John Hatton moved into Aveo Island Point just over two years ago after working in the retirement industry for many years. They were attracted by the location – convenient shops and services and beautiful scenery, adding that one of the most important aspects of village life was the friendship and care from staff and the community.
