Cambodia is finding new ways to take care of their elderly.
The Cambodian Retirement Village runs on a much smaller scale with the purpose of helping take care of people who would otherwise be abandoned. Older men and women are generally looked after by family, there is no support from the Cambodian government.
The CRV was established to help look after those who don’t have family to lean on. Residents have their own room, a vegetable garden and the support of living in a caring community. The village is run by volunteers and relies on donations. You can read more about CRV here.
