This week saw Catholic Healthcare host a forum open to members of the wider Jemalong and Central Western New South Wales community, in an open effort to gather feedback on their plans to redevelop the existing Jemalong Residential Village, and the proposed retirement living village.

The forum drew up to 110 guests in attendance, with many of them being residents keen to learn about the plans. Guests were invited to share their views about the development, ask questions, hear more about the available opportunities and register their willingness to purchase in the new precinct.

Representatives of Catholic Healthcare spoke at the event and with the community. Among them was Regional Manager of Residential Aged Care, Matthew Filocamo.

“We are very focused on the local community and ensuring they feel connected to this site,” Mr. Filocamo said.

“We’re really pleased to have had the opportunity to come here today to speak with the people of Forbes – their feedback is valuable and important to this new build.”

Catholic Healthcare states it is committed to building a new village in the area “as soon as possible”, and will be providing an update in the coming months on the progression of the development plans before building works commence.
