The leading Not For Profit bought the huge block of land on Heath Road at Leppington as it continues to expand its aged care offerings.

CEO David Maher confirmed the site is part of their long-term plans as they search out land for current and future developments. “At this stage what is planned is residential aged care, but there is certainly ample space for retirement and residential care,” he said.

Catholic Healthcare is on a roll at the moment, with developments already underway in Bathurst and Waitara in NSW and Ipswich in Queensland. They have also made recent purchases in Casula and Maroubra, where they bought out the Maroubra Bowling Club land for $28.5 million.

In all, they own 41 aged care homes and 10 retirement villages in NSW and QLD caring for over 6,500 people.
