This week, Retire Australia’s Forresters Beach Retirement Village are celebrating the community’s iconic Lake House as it turns three. The Lake House, which is essentially a multi million-dollar lifestyle centre, houses a café, bar, gymnasium, library, heated pool, lounge area, and other facilities, proving to be immensely popular among residents and their families as the heart of the village since it opened in August 2014.

One such admirer of the facility is Carolyn Pollitt, a resident at the village for three-and-a-half years. She said the Lake House has been a joy to share with her husband John and their extended family.

“It has a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the lake,” Carol said. “It’s great for the grandchildren.”

Forresters Beach Village Manager Colin Smith said the Lake House adds immeasurable value to life at the Central Coast retirement village overall, standing as a hub for togetherness. “The Lake House is the home to so many of our social activities and events,” he said. “It offers residents a level of luxury not found at the vast majority of other retirement villages.”

Known for luxurious lifestyles, exclusive facilities, and a soughtafter location, the ever-popular village has just two villas still available for sale at $575,000 and $695,000, with almost all of the 50 newly-built villas having sold in the last year.

“The Lake House will continue to help residents enjoy social and active lifestyles at Forresters Beach for many years into the future,” Colin said.

“Our residents enjoy high-quality lifestyles, and the Lake House is at the centre of it all – literally and figuratively!” he said.
