82 year old Eileen Dylan-Smith blames coal seam gas (CSG) exploration for jeopardising her plans to move into a retirement village.

The sale of Ms Dylan-Smith’s Fullerton Cove home fell through because of CSG exploration she says. As a result, it stopped her from moving to a retirement village.

"The house sold the first week it was put on the market, so there's nothing against the house itself," she said.

"But then just before the contracts were due to be signed the buyer pulled out.

"The reason given was because of the coal seam gas, she was worried about that."

It is now unlikely Ms Dylan-Smith will be able to relocate to a nearby retirement village.

"I'm likely to lose the place (at the retirement village) that I put a deposit on."

She says she is hoping legal aid will take on her case.
