Meeting friends at the café to chat about death might not be at the top of everyone’s bucket list but the Death Café project is catching on!
 
At a Death Cafe, people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea or coffee and discuss death.  Already there have been over 2,200 Death Cafes held over the past four years worldwide, mainly in Europe, North America and Australasia.
 
The Death Café’s objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.
