Retirement living developer and operator, Aura Holdings, wants to build a 78-apartment development over three buildings of the site on Rowbotham Street.

Toowoomba Golf Club has been considering development and sale options for parts of the course for some time to raise money for the ongoing improvement of the course and its facilities.

“Aura’s business and operating model fit in well with the members interests in providing a product compatible with the relaxed atmosphere for which our Club is renowned,” Johnathon Zirkler, General Manager at Toowoomba Golf Club at Middle Ridge, said.

Named ‘The Ninth Middle Ridge’ based on its locality behind the 9th green on the course, the development was designed by internationally award-winning architects, Cox Architecture and has been developed around a ‘village square’ at the heart of the three buildings.

The state-of-the-art community facilities will also include a chipping and putting green, library, billiards and bar, wine room, dining and alfresco function area, gym, heated pool and many more.
