Adelaide’s largest community based village operator ECH has purchased a 9,800sqm Wilsons car park, located 17 km north-east of Adelaide CBD in Modbury, to build the retirement village of the future.

The land is zoned to allow up to five storeys. It is across the road from Tea Tree Plaza and walking distance of Modbury Hospital.

ECH has over 1,700 retirement village units and homes across 100 Adelaide sites, mostly small clusters of dwellings.

They plan to build 500 new village units by 2025 and are seeking land ‘in the right places’. This development will be the model going forward.
