Not for Profit Vasey Communities’ retirement village at Waitara on Sydney’s North Shore has been turned into Kokoda Residences: 117 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses across 11 levels.

The completion date is July and owners who bought off the plan have already been given a sneak peak of what they paid for.

Built by Richard Crookes Constructions, most of the apartments have been snapped up, with predominately one- and two-bedrooms still available. It is believed the penthouses sold for in excess of $2 million.

One-bedroom units are available from $599,000 and two-bedrooms from $650,000.

Vasey Communities, which is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee, is featuring a terrace garden, bar and lounge, café, hairdresser, cinema and gym with over 55s HUR gym equipment at the development.

Vasey Communities also owns and operates in Sydney: Epping Manor, Wurley Court in Hunters Hill, Ivan Court in Maroubra and Northcott Gardens in Lane Cove.
