A massive hailstorm last Wednesday hit Chinchilla and its 3,300 homes on Queensland’s Western Downs. Approximately 40 skylights were smashed on the roof of Southern Cross Care Chinchilla Illoura Village. Up to 12 cm of Hail fell in minutes accompanied by torrential rain.
