One Halcyon Glades resident, Helen Harris, has been singing praises for her village home-of-two-years, describing it as an ‘infectious’ social scene at the over 50s community in Caboolture, Queensland.
Ms. Harris, an Air Force veteran, praised the retirement village for it’s welcoming and vibrant social environment saying that she has fully embraced her treechange moment and extended her circle of friends even as a single retiree.
“It really does offer a great lifestyle package. I’ve introduced friends to the Halcyon concept and they’ve since purchased at Halcyon Greens.”
“It’s totally designed for homeowners to meet and socialise. It’s not something I’ve found anywhere else. I’ve made many friends here, and there are quite a few single ladies like myself.”
Ms. Harris regularly travels regionally as well as overseas, visiting friends and family or housesitting for friends.
“Halcyon Glades offers me the flexibility of simply locking up and leaving when I like. The social life and facilities are great, which makes it easy to settle straight into the swing of things when I get back home.”
“Also, the level of security that Halcyon provides makes us single occupants feel very safe.”
The precinct features five-star resort facilities including a 25-metre heated magnesium swimming pool, heated spa, championship sized bowling green, floodlit tennis court, Australia’s first pickleball court, barbecue facilities, communal fireplace and so much more.
“This is what makes you feel right at home at Halcyon Glades,” Ms Harris said.
