The $5 million state-of-the-art Recreational Club at Halcyon Lakeside in Bli Bli was officially opened on Wednesday 21st March by Sunshine Mayor Mark Jamieson.

Halcyon Lakeside is located on a 13-hectare site overlooking two lakes, just minutes from the centre of Bli Bli, and is Halcyon’s third Sunshine Coast over 50’s community.

According to Halcyon joint managing director Bevan Geissmann, the Recreational Club is the place where Lakeside’s residents can gather to enjoy facilities that meet their diverse health, fitness and social needs.

The exclusive five-star resort facilities are purpose-built to provide opportunities for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Its features include a Gold Class-style cinema, rooftop tennis, mineral salts pool, fully-equipped gym and circuit room, bowling green and bocce court. Residents also have access to a health and wellness centre and a creative arts precinct.

There is also a work shed, caravan and boat storage, a 12-seat community bus for excursions and 6km of walking trails.

Offering expansive Hinterland views, the homes are priced from $489,000 to $839,000.
