A new retirement village is opening in the New South Wales suburb of Beacon Hill, under the operation of developers The Marston Group. With an established history in residential estates, the community, Marston Living Beacon Hill, will be an eager step for the group as they will display their offering of some of the largest units available on the retirement market with an Open Day scheduled for October 14.

The community at Lady Penrhyn Drive has already neared completion of the first stage of its development, featuring 12 generously sized units priced between $1.3 million and $1.5 million on a 99-year lease.

As Marston sought to create a superiorly designed village aimed at locals wanting to remain in the area as ‘empty-nesters,’ resulting features in the village include air conditioning, Miele appliances and bathrooms that are wheelchair accessible. North-facing balconies yield bush views, and all units have double parking in the basement with lift access.

“The key drawcard of this development is lifestyle,” said Kevin Wu, project manager for Marston.

“We are looking to create a community of like-minded people in a beautiful location with ocean views, luxury fixtures and fittings and a manager on site 24/7 for peace of mind,” he said.

Stage two of the Marston Living Beacon Hill retirement village will comprise of an additional 20 units, set for completion in 2019.
