Kerry Rentsch  of The Oaks and Walmsley Friendship Village was named Manager of the Year VIC/TAS by the Retirement Living Council.

The award recognises the village manager who work towards creating a successful, happy and harmonious village.

Often described as a “change agent” by her Australian Unity Retirement Living colleagues, Kerry won for her commitment to delivering continuous improvement in both business operations and resident satisfaction.

“A career in the retirement living space is borne from a vocation and attracts a certain character—someone who can juggle multiple roles and who is always willing to try on new hats,” Kerry said.

Ms Rentsch is now in the running for the National Manager of the Year award, to be announced at the Retirement Living Summit in Melbourne on Thursday 24 October.
