The Central Coast NSW village of Brentwood was placed in receivership following the Prime Trust collapse in 2009.

With 498 ILUs plus 102 serviced apartments, its uncertain future resulted in a crash in sales, reaching over 200 vacant units. The challenge was compounded by many of the units requiring refurbishment, a substantial capital investment.

Lend Lease took over management of the village in 2009 and negotiated the purchase from the receiver in December 2012 – eight months ago. This week a party was held to celebrate the 30th birthday of the village and both the village residents and Jacinta Collins, NSW Minister for Ageing and Mental Health, awarded certificates to Lend Lease and the village manager, Jamie Sterland, for their commit to the community and the residents of Brentwood.

As important, Lend Lease has an active refurbishment program which is resulting in a steady, high level of unit sales.
