Living Choice, has released plans for an aged care facility, Glenhaven Manor (pictured), to be co-located with its Glenhaven village in the Hills District of Sydney.

This is the second move by Living Choice to bring care into an existing village, reinforcing the developing sector view that villages increasingly require care to appeal to the market. Theirs will be a premium product, offering 100 ‘individual living quarters’ plus nine nursing bays, supported by a hair salon, lounge and courtyard gardens.

Living Choice director, Graham Hobbs, states “Living Choice is negotiating with an aged care company to operate the facility, with the precondition that priority access will be given to Glenhaven village residents and that payment of an accommodation bond will not be required until the resident receives the proceeds from the sale of the villa”.

Padman Health Care has entered an agreement to build an 85 bed aged care facility at Living Choice Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast.
