Selected from 136 nominations, Living Choice Fullarton has been awarded the 2016 South Australian Development of the Year in the Property Council of Australia’s Innovation and Excellence Awards.

The five story/140 unit village is located in the prestige residential circle of Adelaide just 3 km from South Terrace. Many regarded it as a brave development in Adelaide when conceived five years ago.

Jason Sack (pictured 2nd from right), Living Choice GM Sales & Marketing, tells us that they have sold several village apartments for $1.5 million compared to the Adelaide median house price of $573,500.

Innovations that supported the Property Council nomination was the strategy to build both a cafe and 120 seat restaurant in the village that are open to the public (which generates over half its trade) plus a 198 Kw rooftop solar farm that residents can buy generation capacity rights -  at $4,500 per share.

The National Property Council Innovation and Excellence Awards will be announced this Friday night.
