22 year old Cameron Dixon appeared in Geelong Magistrates' Court charged with aggravated burglary of a retirement village unit, theft, car theft, criminal damage and threatening to kill a police officer.

Dixon had forced entry to a unit occupied by an 84-year old woman and her 90-year-old husband. He was arrested in relation to alleged thefts from cars in the Breakwater area.

"He had in his possession a knife, pliers, spanner, jemmy bar and screwdriver," said Sen. Constable Joseph.

Dixon was refused bail.
