Masonic Care’s Kingsley-located retirement village Corinthian Court has unveiled recently undertaken refurbishments to three of its one-bedroom villas.

Seniors Own Real Estate Selling Agent Des Fahy said the three villas, set around a generously sized rectangular reticulated lawn area with some established trees and a small gazebo, are much loved by residents.

“The villas are also easy-care and very low maintenance. The village itself in general is suitable for those retirees who may be seeking a wider choice of accommodation to suit their immediate or future requirements,” Mr Fahy said.

Among the renovations, each villa has been painted, has new carpets, timber-style flooring and air-conditioning.

The well-established village comprises one, two and three-bedroom open plan living villas, with most including a study and either a single or double lock-up garage. There are also some caravan parking lots being available from time to time.

In addition to the excellent facilities available in each of the accommodation units, there are also a whole host of shared facilities including spacious community centre, a well-stocked library, a small gym, heated solar pool and a bowling green, which are among the best available in retirement villages and were for the use of all residents.

Included within these communal facilities is a spacious community centre, which can be used for quiet enjoyment, special functions or general entertainment. In addition to this space, Mr Fahy said there was a well-stocked library and some excellent facilities for exercise. “We also have a small gym, heated solar pool and a bowling green for the more energetic folk,” he said.
