Daniel Findley, Chief Executive Officer of Masonic Care Tasmania has been named the national winner of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) Lynda Gratton CEO Award which recognises CEO’s who achieve positive results for their organisation through best -practice people management.
At a gala ceremony in Melbourne Town Hall attended by many of Australia’s renowned business leaders, the more than eighty finalists were acknowledged for their initiatives that are contributing to the business sector of their organisations through outstanding leadership and management of their people.
Daniel Findley said he was incredibly proud to be named the national winner of the prestigious award which was a true reflection of the 500 plus people that he works with on a daily basis across Tasmania. He praised his committed team of talented and inspiring individuals who he said are the key to the success of Masonic Care Tasmania.
MCT, one of Tasmania’s largest aged care providers, underwent an amalgamation in 2017 of three aged care homes, twelve retirement living locations and community support services to become one state-wide organisation during which time their staff embraced and thrived on their achievements and challenges Mr Findley said.
He also acknowledged and congratulated his fellow finalists in this category, Corinne Bot (Founder & CEO of Polygot Group) and Naomi Wilson (Managing Director of Focus HR).
