Residents of Country Club Village’s Melba Vale estate have been enjoying the benefits of the village’s resort-style vibe of late, and prospective residents are now invited to discover more about the vibrant community at a complimentary tour and lunch of the village on August 25th.
As one of eight villages around the country, the retirement village provider has a steadily growing network of happy residents who are praising the operator’s commitment to fostering a boutique and leisurely retirement lifestyle in all communities.
Tony and Pat Couch, residents of Melba Vale, were attracted to the safe, gated community on Pascoe Vale Road six years ago.
“We enjoy the barbecues, happy hours and having our own bar and pool table,” Mr Couch said.
“We have made great friends and enjoy all of the social events like playing bowls and movie nights.”
“Our family are thrilled with the beautiful units and love to visit as we have great size bedrooms, living area and community facilities,” he added.
Opening in 2019 and set on 3.5ha, Melba Vale will comprise 85 villas once complete. At present, 48 are complete, with eight more under construction, and a new gym and hobby shed are planned for the site as well.
Village Managers Ang and Julia Del Mastro underscored the villages resort-style facilities, adding that the common misconception of living in a retirement village equated to small houses, couldn’t be further from the truth at Melba Vale.
“When we take people through and show them, they can’t believe how spacious they are … they have a bright, airy feel,” Ms Del Mastro said.
“We try and promote a country feel at the village. We want people to come here and enjoy life.”
