The University of Wollongong has opened Expressions of Interest for a residential development partner to build a new Health and Wellbeing Precinct at its Innovation Campus.

The site, which will take up one-third of the 33-hectare campus, would include independent seniors’ living facilities and aged care, plus a general practice and allied health research facility.

UoW forecasts the project will see $400M-$500M invested in the Illawarra and create over 1,000 jobs during construction and the ongoing development.

EOI for the site are open until December 16, with potential partners required to have experience in working on similar large-scale projects.
