David Matthew had plans to build a $93m, 260 residence retirement village on 100 acre Claydon Park farm near Milton.

The property features a two bedroom historic stone homestead and old dairy shed.

Distinctive two-storey silo apartments, glass garden houses and stone barn residences were among features for the village that would includ a medical centre, nursing home and community centre.

The development had won approval by the NSW Joint Regional Planning Panel in 2010, but will go under the hammer instead when it comes to auction later this month.
