The Junee Lifestyle Village project is the work of a group of locals in the town of Junee, 434km from Sydney, who purchased the land in 2016 and hired Ladex Construction Group as the developer.

It will feature 52 units with seven designs ranging from $345,900 for a two-bedroom, single-garage unit to $385,800 for a three-bedroom, double garage unit.

According to the Chairman Michael Commins, their aim was to allow the town’s elderly residents to live independently in Junee without having to move 30 to 40 minutes away as they have had to do until now.

The village, which is situated in the heart of Junee, will offer a holistic living experience for residents, with a community centre, barbeque area and there have been recommendations for a playground to cater for the residents’ grandchildren according to project manager Ellena Zacharia.

Construction is expected to begin halfway through the year.
