Blue Care has contributed its 40 year old Bowen Court retirement village in inner-city New Farm to a joint venture with not-for-profit affordable housing provider BHC in a $12 million project.

The two parties will share ownership of the apartments, with BHC overseeing the finished product in terms of its physical appearance and the management practices. Blue Care will also provide community care services to the residents as their needs changed.

The project will attract Federal and State government funding under the National Rental Assistance Scheme with rents at 80% of the local market rent.
