Churches of Christ Care are celebrating a milestone this week, with the announcement of construction of a new clubhouse at its Regency Park Retirement Village. Residents of the Warwick-based village, along with Churches of Christ Care management and representatives from Jeffries Builders, will be having a ‘roof raising party’ this Friday 2 June to commemorate the highly anticipated clubhouse.

Although the building will be completed in November this year, resident committee chairman Les Meiklejohn expressed that the community can’t wait to celebrate the new addition to the village.

“We are really looking forward to having our club house, and we can’t wait to celebrate our Christmas party in there,” he said.

The clubhouse will provide a comfortable central place for residents and their visitors to socialise, enjoy various activities and views on to the Great Dividing Range.

In addition to the clubhouse, the Warwick campus will welcome it along with 128 master-planned aged care bed services with a community centre- all currently under construction. The state-of-the-art residential aged care services will accommodate seniors in a series of themed cottage-style one and two storey buildings.

Retirement Living Manager Chris Newley praised Churches of Christ Care for providing quality services to seniors in the Southern Downs, giving the clubhouse construction as one such example.

“The clubhouse is one part of our commitment to locals and the provision of quality seniors living options,” Mr. Newley said. “We are proud to be able to deliver a quality product for our Warwick residents to enjoy.”
