Private care operator Regis has cherry-picked the purchase of four prime residential care facilities from Masonic Care, delivering 771 high quality beds. They also have purchased 26,000 square meters of land for 244 village units. They paid $163M which equates to $229,000 per bed with the land thrown in for free – a top price.

Regis did not want a Masonic 49 bed care facility on the Gold Coast.

Masonic states it will use the cash to redirect to its charity works.
