Queensland retirement living provider Aura Holdings has launched Stage 6 of its Kingsford Terrace Corinda community in Brisbane with fast-tracked Stage 4 sold out and only seven apartments left in fast-tacked Stage 5.
Stage six (Taylor) will provide 48 independent living apartments, priced from $690,000 to a $1.425 million penthouse, in the suburb, 12.8km southwest of Brisbane’s CBD, where apartment prices have risen almost 17% in the past 12 months, compared with an average 8% across Brisbane apartments, according to RP Data.
A penthouse, with total floor space of 265sq/m (221sq/m interior), has sold off-the-plan in the Stage 5 building (Lingrove) for $1.72 million. It will have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a multi-purpose room, kitchen and butler’s pantry and multiple balconies.
“Today’s retirees won’t compromise on their standard of living when they downsize so at Aura Holdings we are providing a range of apartments in the sizes and quality they have told us they wanted. The apartments in Taylor have really been designed for the ‘wow factor’,’’ Aura Holdings Director Mark Taylor said.
“Downsizing today is more about leaving behind all the maintenance of a family home, yard and pool, not about living somewhere without the space for all the things our residents love. They also want a sense of security surrounded by friendly, like-minded neighbours sharing a high standard of communal facilities and activities.”
The pet-friendly Kingsford Terrace Corinda village offers residents facilities including a heated indoor pool, café, gym, hairdresser, beautician, a stunning climate-controlled cellar to store and enjoy wine, a billiards room, library, dining and functions room and consulting areas for allied health professionals.
The Taylor building is the community’s penultimate stage, with planning underway for the final Radcliffe building fronting Cliveden Avenue.
Aura Holdings is currently involved in six projects in various stages of development in southeast Queensland, providing high-quality retirement living apartments.
The medium price for a three-bedroom unit in Corinda is $520,000, according to realestate.com.au.
