Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution (RFBI) is partnering with Wyong Golf Club to create a golf and retirement lifestyle village.

RFBI currently operates 20 retirement villages and 21 residential care villages.

The development will incorporate retirement apartments, an aged care facility as well as a clubhouse to support an 18-hole golf course.

Features of the proposed village will include a licensed restaurant and bar, cafe, hairdressing salon and BBQ facilities.

The building will also incorporate environmentally-friendly solar panels and water harvesting abilities.

Construction is due to start towards the end of 2018.
