Blue Care has transferred its 91-bed aged care home in Kingscliff NSW, 120km south of Brisbane, and its Tweed Coast Community Care services to Uniting, its sister organisation in NSW and the ACT.

Uniting will also provide home care to 175 Blue Care clients in the Tweed Heads area, as well as home and nursing care services to another 120 veterans.

It completes a transfer that began last year when Uniting took over Blue Care’s Amaroo nursing home in Tweed Heads in June.

The Not for Profit providers say the change will help them to streamline their services, as Kingscliff is about 10km south of the NSW-QLD border and allows them to focus on their own respective states.
