Stephanie Buckland has been appointed CEO of Amana Living, commencing 1 August. She is currently CEO of Tourism WA, a position she has held since 2010.

Amana Chairman Steve Scudmore states she is a ‘savvy marketer’ and the right person for the role with the increasing competition that is driven by Consumer Directed Care. Formerly Anglican Homes, Amana is one of the largest care operators in WA with 13 care facilities and 17 villages.

Prior to joining Tourism WA, Stephanie was head of retail marketing for Bankwest, and she worked for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare in the USA and Australia.

She takes over from Ray Glickman who held the position of CEO for 11 years before announcing his decision to depart early this year to pursue his career as a published author plus he will be consulting through his business From Left Field.

Amana has a successful track record of bringing in talent from ‘left field’. Ray was CEO of the City of Fremantle which won many awards for its transition under his leadership.
