The land in Melbourne’s western suburbs was purchased from ASX-listed developer Cedar Woods Properties Limited.

The planned development will initially cater for 120 residents at the master-planned community, with future stages expected to almost double its size.

Privately held TriCare owns nine retirement villages and 15 residential aged care facilities in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with construction on the project expected to start in 2017.
