The planned village for the Blacktown Workers Sports Club in Sydney’s west could accommodate up to 800 self-contained dwellings plus a 160-bed aged care home.

While plans for the Reservoir Road site are still in the early stages, the local Council has already supported the Club’s proposal to relocate its sports fields to Arndell Park to make way for the development.

The village will also be subject to a separate development assessment process and report to Council.

The Club will hold a forum for its members on the proposed village and retirement living in mid-September, in partnership with senior living specialists One Fell Swoop.
