The Perth-based developer plans to build the village at Two Rocks, a northern outer suburb of Perth located on the water, after receiving approval from the local Council.
The large site, which is home to a famous local statue of King Neptune, is currently vacant and sits opposite the Two Rocks marina.
Fini has proposed developing the site in stages with the buildings to range from one to two storeys and over one hectare reserved as a public community space. The remaining sections of the site would then potentially be used for commercial uses.
“Two Rocks is a district centre where we should be encouraging and promoting higher densities,” planning and sustainability director Mark Dickson said. “We hope that this will be a catalyst for further development.”
