Stockland’s second Aspire development – and first in WA – has commenced construction.
Aspire is a purpose-built neighbourhood designed for people over 55 and is structured under strata title with most costs paid up front so residents retain all capital gains and complete ownership of their property.
According to Stephen Bull, Group executive and CEO of Retirement Living at Stockland, the Aspire model is for those customers who wish to downsize from the family home but want an alternative option to a traditional Retirement Living Village or apartment.
Aspire in WA is located within the 145 hectare master planned Calleya community, 23km from Perth and will include 144 single-storey homes specially designed to support ageing in place. Features of the development include an exclusive clubhouse, pool, gymnasium, billiards room and bar.
The development is a reflection of the changing needs of Australians and the company’s commitment to innovation according to Col Dutton, WA General Manager Residential at Stockland.
Prices in the first stage of Aspire at Calleya, available now, start from $471,000 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 2 car garage.
The development is due for completion in 2021 with the first residents expected to move in this November.
